Lo que escriben “nuestras amigas”: un estudio sobre las reflexiones en torno a las mujeres autoras en el epistolario Goethe-Schiller
Resumen
El presente trabajo se propone realizar una sistematización de las reflexiones sobre literatura y mujeres dispersas en el extenso epistolario intercambiado por Goethe y Schiller entre los años 1794-1805, en función de elucidar su concepción acerca de la literatura “femenina”. Se procurará determinar los vínculos que ambos poetas mantuvieron con autoras que desarrollaron su obra durante el “período artístico”. Asimismo, se indagará en la aparente contradicción que se desprende de las cartas intercambiadas entre los corresponsales que, por un lado, condenan las obras escritas por mujeres, catalogándolas como meros ejemplos del arte diletante, pero, por el otro, fomentan activamente la participación de escritoras en las diversas publicaciones que editaron, posicionándose como sus protectores y mentores.
